The media partnerships team is the face of Facebook to our external relationships and works with some of the India’s largest media companies, celebrities, journalists, news organizations, movie studios, TV channels & TV actors, musicians across India etc. With the heterogeneity of the Indian market, the Media Growth team focuses on penetrating deeper into each vertical and build capabilities for scale management.
Facebook is seeking an experienced marketing professional to build and manage its programs function within Media Growth partnerships. The role will ensure that our relationships meet our broad objectives with partners. They will be responsible for building the primary capabilities for analysis, outreach and support for partner management. This role is also responsible for creating, managing and upgrading Facebook’s learning programs and product narratives for various partner verticals.
This position is located in Mumbai, India.
Build the scale marketing and communication capabilities while partnering with various media vertical heads and international teams
Data analysis of media verticals and pages of partners on Facebook and send them reports and suggest improvement areas
Build support capabilities for managing large scale of partners across verticals
Program manage and conduct trainings, events, and conferences with partners on Facebook tools and best practices
Communicate regularly over calls, emails, sms etc key data and suggestions related to the partner
Teach partners to use Facebook and the various tools and products available for partners to use
Be an internal advocate for the partners to suggest changes and best practices;
Partners include media companies (TV networks, movie studios, news organizations) & public figures (athletes, actors, journalists etc)
MBA/Post Graduate degree with outstanding academic performance from a tier 1 B-school
Digital and media industry/knowledge preferred
6+ years’ experience, including 2 years of related scaled outreach/marketing/working in media company experience;
Proven track record of partnerships and or partner servicing roles, preferably at a consumer internet company or media organization, among a diverse set of industries;
Excellent project or program management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects;
Ability to manage a large number of partners across various verticals of entertainment & news across different regions & languages via calls & emails
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally; Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
