Procurement Manager

EMEA Marketing Science and Procurment Manager

* Provide procurement support to marketing science team

* Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders in Oracle

* Support internal teams in procuring and managing contracts

* Train team members on procurement process

* Review and close out exhausted/completed purchase orders monthly

* Maintain a database tracking the following:

* Pending/existing vendor contracts (PSA, SOW)

* Purchase Orders

* Invoice payment statuses (making sure invoices are paid on time or invoices are not held up/missing; follow-up with BDO offices for international invoices)

* Retainer fees and schedule

* Track, manage and maintain teams’ budget; partnering with Finance on their projected spends, monthly accruals and budget reallocations on a quarterly basis

* Ensure all agreements, purchases and initiatives comply with internal policies and controls

* Partner with Purchasing, AP, Legal, and Finance teams to onboard new vendors, and complete SOWs/Contracts

* Continually institute best practices to bridge the business users’ needs/objectives while complying with AP, Legal, Sourcing and Purchasing requirements/controls.

* Work with Purchasing, AP, Legal and Finance teams to create and fine tune processes

* Miscellaneous ad hoc projects

 

Skills

* Advanced Excel and Outlook user, intermediate PPT and Word user

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work and communicate effectively and succinctly with people at all levels, across all functions

* Minimum 4 years purchasing or database management experience

* Must have a high level of professionalism and integrity with the ability to work with confidential information

* Highly motivated team player that can work well under pressure

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

* Ability to problem solve, identify root causes, and escalate issues as necessary

* Ability to provide a superior level of customer service and follow up on a variety of issues

* Ability to see the “big picture,” map out process flows & improvements and influence key stakeholders
